A Super Delta Male Betta is a popular variety of the Siamese fighting fish (Betta splendens) known for its wide, triangular tail that spreads between 120 and 180 degrees.

Physical Characteristics

- Size: They typically grow to about 6 to 7 cm (2.4 to 2.8 inches) in length.
- Appearance: They feature streamlined, muscular bodies and vibrant, flowing fins that come in a wide range of solid colors, bi-colors, and patterns.
Care and Requirements
- Tank Size: They need a minimum of a heated, filtered 5-gallon (approx. 20-liter) aquarium to thrive.
- Water Parameters: Water should be kept warm and stable, ideally between 24°C and 27°C (75°F to 80°F), with a gentle filter flow so their large fins do not get weighed down. Adding botanicals like Indian almond leaves helps mimic their natural, soft-water habitat.
- Temperament: Like other male bettas, Super Deltas are highly territorial and aggressive toward other males. They should be kept as the sole male in a tank, though they can sometimes live with peaceful, non-fin-nipping bottom-dwellers or snails in a well-planted community setup.
- Diet: As carnivores, they require a high-protein diet consisting of quality betta pellets, supplemented occasionally with frozen or live foods like brine shrimp or daphnia.
