- Maintenance: Regular weekly testing helps detect dangerous spikes early and ensures a stable aquatic environment. An ideal reading is 0 ppm.
How to Use the Test Kit
- Fill the clean glass test tube to the marked line with a water sample from the aquarium.
- Hold the test solution dropper bottle completely upright and add 5 drops into the test tube.
- Cap the test tube securely and shake for a few seconds to mix.
- Wait 5 minutes for the color to develop. The liquid will change from pale blue to purple if nitrite is present.
- Compare the color of the test tube against the provided color chart in a well-lit area to determine the concentration.
