Description
The Simply Pond 6W T5 UV Tube is a standard 2-pin style replacement ultraviolet lamp designed to control algae and clear green water in pond filtration systems.
A UV (ultraviolet) light in a pond filter uses UV-C rays to kill single-celled green algae and harmful microorganisms as water passes by the bulb, resulting in clearer water and less algae problems, It is recommended to replace UV bulbs every 6 – 10 months for algae control.
