Seachem Prime is a concentrated liquid water conditioner that makes tap water safe for freshwater and saltwater aquariums by instantly removing chlorine and chloramine.

Key Functions
- Dechlorination: Permanently neutralizes chlorine and chloramine instantly upon contact.
- Ammonia & Nitrite Detoxification: Temporarily binds ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate into a non-toxic form for 24 to 48 hours, leaving them available for beneficial filter bacteria to process.
- Heavy Metal Neutralization: Detoxifies typical tap water heavy metal concentrations.
- Slime Coat: Promotes the natural regeneration of the fish slime coat.
- pH Safety: Non-acidic formula that will not impact aquarium pH or overactivate protein skimmers.
Standard Dosage
- Water changes: 1 capful (5 mL) per 50 litres (13 US gallons) of new or replacement water.
- Emergency/High spikes: Can be safely dosed up to 5 times the normal amount during sudden ammonia or nitrite emergencies. Re-dose every 24 to 48 hours if levels remain high until the biofilter catches up.
