Spiderwood (also known as Azalea root, Redmoor wood, or neinei) is a popular, finely branched driftwood commonly used in aquascaping and terrariums.

Description
Key Characteristics:
- Origin: Sourced from the roots and shrublands of Asian or North American rhododendron and azalea plants.
- Appearance: Features a distinct, spindly, root-like branching structure with a light tan, brown, or reddish tint.
- Aquarium Use: Prized for creating natural-looking underwater scapes and attaching mosses or small epiphytes (like Anubias).
- Buoyancy: Sold dry, meaning it will float initially and needs to be weighed down with a stone or pre-soaked in a bucket until it absorbs water and sinks (usually taking a few weeks).
