Description

The Nimbochromis venustus (or Venustus Cichlid) is a large, predatory African cichlid from Lake Malawi, renowned for its “giraffe” spotted pattern and yellow/blue coloration. Reaching up to 10 inches (25 cm), they require a minimum 75–125 gallon tank. As, ambush predators, they thrive on high-protein diets in hard, alkaline water.
