Price range: £9.60 through £10.78
The Juwel BioPlus Coarse is an open-pore foam filter sponge designed for mechanical and biological filtration in Juwel Bioflow aquarium filter systems.
Description
- Filtration Type: Provides mechanical debris trapping and aerobic biological filtration (converting nitrites to nitrates).
- Design: Homogenous, chemical-free, open-pore structure that ensures an even water flow velocity and a large surface area for beneficial bacteria.
- Compatibility: Available in sizes Medium (M), Large (L), and Extra Large (XL) to fit corresponding Bioflow filter systems (e.g., Bioflow M/3.0 fits Rio, Vision, Trigon, and Lido aquariums).
- Maintenance: Reusable; experts and manufacturers recommend rinsing or replacing it roughly every 3 to 6 months when it loses its structural bounce or integrity.
