API Melafix is an all-natural, tea tree extract-based antibacterial remedy used to treat bacterial infections, open wounds, and damaged fins in freshwater and saltwater aquarium fish.
Description
What It Treats
- Fin and tail rot
- Open wounds and abrasions
- Eye cloud and pop eye
- Mouth fungus and ulcers
- Tissue and fin regrowth
How to Use It
- Dosage: Add 5 ml for every 38 to 40 litres (10 U.S. gallons) of aquarium water.
- For diseases or wounds: Dose daily for 7 days. After 7 days, perform a 25% water change and repeat if needed.
- For new fish: Dose daily for 3 days to prevent disease outbreaks.
- Preparation: Shake well before use and remove activated carbon filters if possible during treatment.
